Thieves tried to steal a catalytic converter from a 2007 Kia Sportage on the 1700 block of North Ridge between 8 p.m. Aug. 10 and 8 a.m. Aug. 11. They tried to saw through the outlet pipe but failed. Damage was estimated at $120.
FOUND: A wallet belonging to Sara Beachtel, 21, of Chambersburg, has been turned in to the Chambersburg Police Department. Police said the wallet was found Thursday morning at Washington and South Main streets and turned into the department at 8:15 a.m.
